Creed Aventus smells of citrus, woody and musky. It contains notes of bergamot, pineapple, birch, patchouli, musk, oak moss and ambergris. Upon smelling it for the first time, my nose immediately receives the citrus elements, namely bergamot and pineapple. This combination smells crunchy, but also a little fruity and juicy.
Although it's been said that there are really well-made clones out there, I haven't smelled anything like Creed Aventus. In conclusion, I would rate the new Aventus Creed bottle with just two stars, simply because it no longer has the same charm as the previous formulation. Fortunately, there are really good recreations and clones of the older batches that I love, and I highly recommend it instead of buying the latest Aventus formulation from Creed. Unlike many other critics, I have faith in BlackRock, I think they can improve the current Aventus and other Creed offerings.

While it's still a decent perfume, the absence of pineapple notes has diminished the magic of Aventus Creed for me.
